What is the booking process for my wedding?
Simply complete the inquiry form in the “Contact” section with your event details. Once submitted, we’ll get back to you with availability and pricing information. We strive to respond to all inquiries within 72 hours during our office hours, Monday–Thursday.
For wedding bookings, a non-refundable retainer is required to officially reserve your date.
Can changes be made after I secure my date? I’m not sure of all the logistics yet.
We completely understand that many details are still coming together in the early stages of wedding planning, and adjustments are often needed along the way. We do require a confirmed number of makeup services to officially reserve your booking. We can always add services as we get closer! This allows us to properly schedule and staff your wedding day with the appropriate number of artists to ensure everything runs seamlessly.
As your timeline and details are finalized with your planner, photographer, and other vendors, we’re happy to make thoughtful adjustments to timing and logistics as needed.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend inquiring and booking your bridal services 12+ months in advance of your wedding date. Our calendar fills quickly, and early booking ensures the best availability, especially for peak seasons and Saturdays.
While we do our best to accommodate last-minute inquiries when possible, we strongly encourage securing your date as early as you’re ready to guarantee availability.
Are bridal previews required?
Bridal previews are completely optional and not required to book your wedding date. In fact, many of our brides choose not to have a preview, while others prefer the added peace of mind. We do recommend a bridal preview if you are still deciding on your final look or would like the opportunity to work with Kaitlyn in advance. This allows us to thoughtfully refine your vision and ensure everything feels aligned before your wedding day.
At this time, bridal previews are offered exclusively to booked brides. Once your date is secured with a contract and retainer, we will coordinate your preview appointment, typically scheduled 1–3 months prior to your wedding, to perfect your complete bridal look alongside your hair preview if applicable.
Do you offer previews for anyone else in the bridal party?
At this time, bridal previews are reserved exclusively for the bride. This allows us to dedicate the time and attention needed to thoughtfully design and perfect your overall bridal look. For your bridal party, we ensure a seamless experience on the wedding day by working within the vision established during your preview, while still tailoring each service to enhance everyone’s individual features.
Where are bridal previews held, and when can I schedule mine?
Bridal previews are held at our studio in Summerville (Nexton) and are scheduled on weekdays. As Kaitlyn and our team are on-site with weddings throughout the weekends, this allows us to provide a more relaxed, focused experience for your appointment. At this time, we do not offer travel for bridal previews.
I have a larger bridal party, will I need additional artists?
On your wedding day, Kaitlyn’s primary focus is you. She dedicates the most time to the bride, with bridal makeup typically taking around 1.5 hours to ensure every detail is perfected. Services for bridesmaids and mothers are thoughtfully timed at approximately 45–60 minutes each. Kaitlyn is able to accommodate up to 3 makeup services herself, including the bride. For larger parties, an additional artist (or artists) will be scheduled to ensure a seamless and timely experience. All artists on our team are carefully selected and trained to deliver the same elevated, high-touch service our brand is known for, ensuring a cohesive and luxury experience for you and your bridal party.
How can I prep my skin to ensure my makeup looks flawless?
Glad you asked! Proper skin prep plays a key role in achieving a smooth, elevated finish. We recommend treatments such as professional dermaplaning or a HydraFacial to refine the skin and create the ideal canvas for makeup application. Most brides schedule a facial 2–3 weeks prior to the wedding to allow the skin to settle and look its best. It’s important to keep in mind that makeup enhances the skin, it doesn’t mask texture, and in some cases can emphasize it. If you’re planning to get a spray tan, we kindly ask that you avoid the face. We will custom color match your complexion on the day of to ensure a seamless, natural result.
We’re also happy to provide trusted esthetician recommendations upon request.
Do you offer airbrush makeup?
As of January 2026, we no longer offer airbrush makeup. Our approach focuses on advanced traditional application techniques, allowing us to create a seamless, skin-like finish that photographs beautifully and wears exceptionally well throughout your wedding day.
Are you able to do a variety of skin tones?
Absolutely! With Kaitlyn’s experience working in NYC, we’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of complexions and are highly skilled in precise color matching. As professionally trained and versatile artists, we take great pride in creating beautiful, tailored results for every client. Our kits are thoughtfully stocked to accommodate all skin tones, ensuring you and your entire bridal party feel confident and seamlessly matched.
What should I expect the morning of my wedding?
By the time your wedding day arrives, every detail of your glam has already been thoughtfully planned, so you can simply relax and enjoy the experience! The morning is designed to feel calm, organized, and elevated. Kaitlyn and our team will arrive on-site, fully prepared, and guide you through a seamless getting-ready process. From start to finish, our focus is on creating a polished, luxury experience while allowing you to feel present, pampered, and completely taken care of.
Can you take separate payments from my bridal party? They are covering their own costs.
At this time, we accept one form of payment per booking. If your bridal party is covering their individual services, we kindly ask that the total payment be collected and submitted together as a single transaction by the bride or designated point of contact. This helps ensure a smooth and streamlined booking and day-of experience for everyone involved.
Where do you travel to? Do you have a minimum?
We are based in Summerville, South Carolina and travel throughout Charleston and surrounding areas, as well as destination. We require a minimum of 4 services to travel on-location.
Travel is calculated at $1.50 per mile roundtrip from our studio. For any locations more than 2 hours away, hotel accommodations are required. For out-of-state bookings, additional travel arrangements such as flights, lodging, and transportation will be coordinated based on location.
What do I need to prepare for you on the day of the event?
